The PEG-12/160 is a 12-channel static weighing machine. It includes advanced algorithms, capable of reaching high productivity compared to other 12-channel models. It is the ideal scale for feeding 2 fast closing machines. In case the diameter of the product is below 40 mm, a small kit is available, which allows the handling of products such as chestnuts, small clementines, walnuts, etc.

The fruits are transported by the feeding system and placed inside the feeding hopper located at the bottom of the elevator. They are then transported via an elevator, to the upper part of the weighing machine. With the help of oscillating channels, the distribution system feeds the weighing buckets, with gentle handling. A computer combines the weights that have been stored in the memory and chooses the right buckets, so that we reach the desired weight of the package with the appropriate precision. Then, the buckets, with a system of double flaps, empty the fruits either on the first belt or on the second, so as to feed the desired closing machine. The PEG 12 can power either two new technology or 3 old technology closing machines, or even a combination of these.
